Los orígenes de la acción corporativa de los Auxiliares Sanitarios en la Comunidad Valenciana
A fecha de hoy, tenemos constancia de que entre los años de la última década del S. XIX y las dos primeras del S. XX, en el territorio que actualmente constituye la Comunidad Valenciana, al menos cinco iniciativas de acción corporativas fueron instituidas por los practicantes levantinos. En respuesta a las proclamas de una prensa profesional emergente, que fue el vehículo que les hizo sentir la necesidad de unión para ser más fuertes, constituyeron colegios, asociaciones o juntas en distintas villas y ciudades. Los comienzos de la acción corporativa en estas poblaciones son el objeto de nuestro estudio, abarcando su dimensión temporal desde los inicios hasta el momento en que la R.O. del 29 de diciembre de 1930 establece la colegiación oficial obligatoria, impulso decisivo para la pervivencia de los Colegios y su proyección futura. Situados en las provincias de Castellón, Valencia y Alicante, enumerados por el orden cronológico de su institución, surgieron en los años que se señala en Vinaroz (1885), Valencia (1903), Denia (1906), Alicante (1895 y 1909), Alcoy (1911?) y Castellón (1920). Todos ellos creados por las tres razones principales que impulsaban a los sufridos practicantes de aquellos tiempos a asociarse: 1) Luchar contra el intrusismo que les hurtaba ilegalmente trabajo e ingresos; 2) buscar el amparo de los socorros mutuos para no condenar a su familia a la miseria en caso de muerte o incapacidad laboral y 3) reivindicar una mayor formación para ampliar sus conocimientos y carrera profesional, a fin de lograr el reconocimiento y la dignificación social de su trabajo, así como la consecución de una remuneración más justa
The corporate action origins of the Health Assistants in the Comunidad Valenciana
To date, we have evidence that between the last decade of the 19th century and the first two of the 20th century, in the territory that now constitutes the Comunidad Valenciana, at least five corporate action initiatives were instituted by the Levantine practitioners. Answering to the claims of an emerging professional press, which was the way that made them feel the need for unity to be stronger, they built schools, associations or boards in different villages and cities. The beginnings of the corporate action in these towns are the object of our study, covering the temporal dimension from the beginning until the moment the R.O. of December 29 1930 establishing the mandatory official licensing, a decisive impulse for the subsistence of the Colleges and its future projection. Located in the provinces of Castellón, Valencia and Alicante, listed in chronological order of their establishment, they appeared in the years that is noted in Vinaroz (1885), Valencia (1903), Denia (1906), Alicante (1895 and 1909), Alcoy (1911?) and Castellón (1920). All of them created by the three main reasons that drove the sufferers practitioners of that time to associate: 1) fighting against intrusion that stole them illegally their work and earnings; 2) to search protection under the Mutual Aid that not condemn his family to indigence in case of death or incapacity to work and 3) to claim more education to enlarge their knowledge and career, to achieve social acknowledgment and dignity of their work, as well as achieve a more reasonable remuneration
